Patrick Gorman, an Esso annuitant, died Wednesday night at his home, 27 East 3rd Street, after a long illness. Born in Bayonne, he attended the old St. Mary's School on Evergreen Street. He retired in 1938 from Esso Standard Oil Company [where he was employed as a …er in the Case and Can Department — text damaged and only partly legible]. [The legible fragments read: “Mr.

Mr. Gorman was a member of St. Andrew's Holy Name Society, the Esso Federation; and the Pensioners and Quarter Century Clubs of Esso. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.

Survivors are her husband, Patrick Gorman; two daughters, Anna E. and Catherine; three sons, John J., William V., and Michael A., all of Bayonne; one sister, Miss Catherine Leahey; four brothers, James, Dennis, Malachy, and Peter Leahey, as well as 15 grandchildren, all of Bayonne.
