Historical context

These background articles explain the places, work, and events in this entry.

What we still don't know

  • Mary’s obituary prints William V.; Patrick’s news obituary and precisely dated paid notice both print William P. The profile uses P. while preserving V. as the conflicting newspaper reading.
  • [NEGATIVE] No exact attributable entry was found in the controlled 1915–1945 Bayonne Times name-only death-notice index. This does not exclude a death outside that index or date span.
