Life
Our family tree identifies Patrick Hickey as a son of John Joseph Hickey and Ellen Condon and gives his birth year as 1868. It says he married Mary Phister and had a daughter, Sarah Ada Hickey.
A second public tree independently places the family in Queensland. Its index says, "Patrick Hickey & Mary Jane Phister were married on.1896 in.QLD," and that "A daughter, Sarah Ada Hickey, was born on.1897 in.QLD." It also names a son, John Thomas Hickey, born in 1898, whom our family tree does not include. These are useful leads, but neither tree is a civil or church record, and Patrick's later life remains unknown.
How we know this: Weak evidence; two our family tree agree on a Queensland marriage and daughter, but no record-grade source proves them. [1][2][3]

What we still don't know
- Patrick's exact birth and death details
- Whether his parents were John Joseph Hickey and Ellen Condon
- The exact identity and age of Mary Phister
- Whether John Thomas Hickey was also their son
- Locate the underlying Queensland marriage registration and Sarah Ada’s birth/death registrations; these should establish ages, parents, and Mary’s exact name.
