One part of the family
Cooney / Farrelly
Islandeady records document the Cooney–Needham household at Derrycriff, while a Cavan register documents Andrew Farrelly. Sergeant Peter Cooney’s 1918 service and grave are documented, but he must not be confused with the child born at Derrycriff in 1890.

Bridget Boyle
Dates not recorded
She witnessed the marriage of **Patrick Farrelly and Margaret Boyle** at Miltown chapel, Killeshandra, on 8 May 1879. Sharing the bride's surname, she is very likely Margaret's sister and another daughter of Patrick Boyle of Gartbratten — which the register does not say and which nothing yet proves.
