John Hickey, born 11 March 1827 at Limerick Junction, County Tipperary, Ireland; died 18 July 1906 at Dinmore, City of Ipswich, Queensland, aged 79. Buried Ipswich General Cemetery, Roman Catholic, grave 7922. Parents William Hickey 1799-1862 and Mary Grady Hickey 1800-1876. Married Ellen Condon in 1860.
