- [HER MAIDEN NAME IS STILL UNKNOWN] The memorial names her Julia Veronica Leahey, her married name. Nothing here gives the name she was born with, and without it her Manhattan birth of 1 September 1914 cannot be looked up. Their 1933 marriage return would name her father and mother; New York City birth certificates to 1909 are free online but 1914 is past that wall.
