His surname cannot be given with confidence: the index reads *Guldeyl*s* with one character unreadable, and the same index mangles her own surname to *Eunick* and her mother's to *Tekonday*. His parents appear on the record as Christian G and Maria Raekardt. Her brothers and sisters were Mary Magdalena (July 1885), William P. (October 1886), August J. (February 1888), John C. (April 1896), Cecelia Juliana (19 July 1904).
