Brother Francis Rodgers
about 1919 – 2002
Brother Francis Rodgers was born about 1919, a son of Michael Francis Rodgers and Bridget Elizabeth Hickey, and **entered the Congregation of Christian Brothers** — his memorial gives him as Br Francis Rodgers CFC. He was born the same year as his sister Kathleen and the two were probably twins. He died in 2002, aged about eighty-three. He is the second religious in this generation of the family: his cousin, a daughter of John Hickey, is recorded only as Sister Mary Gerard.
