The T.O.T.E. Pin Man (1928)

The body appeared to have been there for several months. A bullet wound was visible in the right temple and a pistol lay beneath the right shoulder. A coat lapel carried an Improved Order of Red Men pin initialed “T.O.T.E.,” which the source collection expands as “Totem of the Eagle.” A card in the remains of a wallet included “Saginaw, Michigan,” but the rest of the address could not be read. The captured report gives no later identification or formal manner-of-death ruling.
