A missing couple was found near home in Warren Grove, where dense vegetation had concealed their bodies.
The view from above
Gary and Lorraine Parker were found dead on November 30, 2021, after searches of the Warren Grove woods. Stafford police captain James Vaughn told New Jersey 101.5 that a drone operator noticed a patch of lighter-colored clothing among scrub pine and thorn bushes.
Vaughn explained that someone passing only feet away on the ground could have missed them. Their ATV had already been recovered on the property. This documented visibility problem helps explain how an aerial search found what earlier ground searches had not.
Recovery was not an explanation of death
Police said at the time that foul play did not appear to be involved and that autopsies would follow. The cited reporting does not establish a final cause of death. No later public medical finding was located in this pass.
The known search circumstances should not be converted into a theory about why the couple left the vehicle, or into an allegation against anyone else.
