The Penns Grove cobbler’s body was recovered from the Delaware River after he had been missing for several days.
What was reported
Daniel Buzz, 20, a summer visitor rowing on the river, saw Domioni’s fully clothed body several blocks from his home and notified police. Coroner Daniel Christy certified drowning. An interpreter said a note at Domioni’s home indicated an intention to die. Police found no injury or other evidence of violence.
Domioni lived alone, and neighbors knew of no close relatives nearby. The clipping also spells the surname “Domiono”; the source record uses Domioni.
