LATER RECLINING-SEAT ARCHITECTURE / ESTIMATED ALIGNMENT

Under the cushions.
At the floor.

The seats now have separate floor runners, upper slides, structural frames, diaphragm envelopes, recliner/catch cues and floor-fixing references. Eight estimated floor openings expose the drawing connection to the existing floor.

The floor-runner pair and upper-slide pair have distinct open sections. The frame carries the cushion-support plane and backrest structure; diaphragm and hinge/catch envelopes remain separately selectable. None simulates locking, slide travel, reclining, springing, loaded support or actual adjustment.

A declared change to the old cushion pose

The earlier cushion mesh lower bound was Y .70 after its drawing bevel, while the new reference support plane is Y .56. That 0.14-body-unit discrepancy is approximately 118.53 mm in the nominal wheelbase frame. The existing cushion/headrest shapes now translate down .14 body units to align the reference assembly. This is an estimated construction pose, not a direct owner seat-height measurement, spacer size or proof of fitted contact. The floor datum remains unchanged.

IMG_6341 and IMG_6329 establish the visible tan upholstery, rounded headrests and cabin context. They do not survey hidden runners, frame construction, mounting coordinates or loaded cushion height. The source alignment and every new section, support height, mounting pattern and station remain estimates.

Keep later seat and runner variants separate

Factory PDF p. 296 lists GAN6-applicable CHA23/24 reclining frames, diaphragm architecture and chassis-dependent seat-sensor equipment. PDF p. 298 distinguishes head-restraint fittings. The fitted headrest socket, sensor, material/color code and frame identity remain unresolved.

PDF p. 299 distinguishes later AHA9946/47 floor-rack and AHA9944/45/43 slide/catch architecture from earlier runner branches. The MGOC Midget comparison corroborates the later runner distinction. The four drawing stations per seat are a construction pattern, not a reconciled catalog fastener quantity or actual hole count. No MGB wooden-support arrangement is transferred to this reference.

Reference alignment is not fitted anchorage

No floor strength, bolt grade/thread/torque, backing reinforcement, actual lock engagement, diaphragm preload or restraint capacity is verified. Seatbelt and early/later sequential-seat equipment remain distinct unresolved configurations. Frame and diaphragm offsets in the general separation view are inspection movements, not verified withdrawal directions or a seat-removal sequence. Actual body registration, loaded comfort height, interference and replacement paths remain unverified.

Native support reference

Construction checks cover positive valid shapes, STEP round-trip, source scale, the declared cushion translation and estimated floor apertures. They do not certify operating seats or anchorages. Other native source exports remain unchanged.

Photo-led seat envelopes

IMG_6341 shows a brown shaped cushion, tapered reclining back and separate rounded headrest. Six native upholstery envelopes replace the former three boxes per seat in the whole-car view. Existing seat centers, the cushion lower support plane and all separate runner/frame geometry stay at their reference stations. The new taper, crown, recline and headrest outline are unscaled photo-layout estimates; no new owner dimension is applied.

The factory reclining-seat and head-restraint plates (PDF p.296 and p.298) support separate roles, not identification of these fitted seats. The hidden headrest guide/post and seat internals are omitted. Closed shapes represent upholstery volume, not foam compression, cover thickness or a verified frame fit. The opposite seat repeats the estimated form; actual adjustments may differ. Illustrative separation does not establish release order or removal through the doorway.
