Second random entry sample and arrival points
Checked October 4, 2026. Two agents reviewed separate samples of twelve history/transport and twelve community/folklore entries. An additional map review sampled twelve visitable places. These notes record the changes selected for publication, not a claim that every sampled page needed revision.
- NPS Mount Peace Cemetery article states that discriminatory cemetery clauses helped prompt the burial ground and that it joined the African American Civil Rights Network in 2024. It does not update WHYY’s 2017 account of the unknown exact location of John Lawson’s grave.
- Medford Historical Society visit page publishes Kirby’s Mill at 275 Church Road, identifies the Sawyer House office at the same address, and says historic sites open at scheduled events, tours and seasonal open houses. The 1971 National Register nomination refers to a November 3, 1773 Pennsylvania Gazette notice; this audit did not inspect the notice, so the story still attributes that claim to the nomination. The map uses the existing GNIS mill-site point for a visitable stop, not a claimed parking coordinate.
- Ocean County Parks’ Cloverdale Farm page and self-guided brochure publish 34 Cloverdale Road and describe the dirt-road approach. OpenStreetMap address way 574482867 maps that address at approximately 39.759591, -74.275400, replacing a park-page viewport-center point at 39.757334, -74.282371. Neither point independently identifies a parking space; the county map and signs govern arrival.
