Round four validation — September 7, 2026

This batch adds 45 new entries and substantially updates five existing entries, bringing the public collection from 255 to 300.

Compared the batch manifest with the entry hashes captured before work began: exactly 45 new files and five changed existing entries, with 50 distinct changelog items.
Confirmed all 300 search records appear in both the people and topic indexes. Checked entry headings, date metadata, factboxes, citations, Updates navigation and all public local links.
Rebuilt the catalog twice and verified identical generated output on the second run.
Reviewed all 50 narratives and accompanying source ledgers. A second agent independently checked the five expanded stories against source documents and images.
Utility tests: 26 passed (node --test test/feeds.test.js accountability/pace.test.js).
Clean Jekyll production build passed using tracked HEAD plus the Pine Barrens changes. Required publication files exist; excluded application directories and source-code artifacts are absent; built search contains 300 records.
Playwright confirmed 50 rendered changelog items and no desktop overflow. At a 390 × 844 mobile viewport, document width remained 390 pixels; the screenshot was visually inspected. Searching for Paisley returned the relevant stories without horizontal overflow.

Validation used the local site and an isolated production build. Deployment is handled by the repository workflow after push.
