Continuation integration and validation — September 7, 2026

Completed 55 distinct stories: 40 new and 15 substantially updated, excluding the earlier 14-story pass. The requested fifty-story batch is recorded separately from five additional Tabernacle Historical Society stories in ../updates/changes.json. No navigation or formatting changes were counted as stories.

The public archive now contains 155 entries. Root reviewed all 55 narratives; an independent agent reviewed the main50 for duplicate subjects, local links and unsupported conclusions. Remaining research limitations appear within the entries and agent ledgers.

Checks passed:

Story classifications checked against the pre-continuation file/hash baseline.
Search, people and topic indexes contain the same155 public URLs.
All local Pine Barrens links resolve.
Catalog generation is idempotent.
Scoped git whitespace check passes.
Jekyll builds successfully to /tmp/pinebarrens-research-build (pre-existing Ruby extension warnings).
Browser renders the Updates page at desktop and390px mobile widths without horizontal overflow; index search for influenza returns the Fort Dix entry.

Changes remain in the local workspace; no commit or deployment performed.
